Residential Development at Kenneth and Holmes
KH Infill Holdings is proposing a residential development located west of Kenneth Avenue, north of Holmes Avenue, and east of Doris Avenue. The proposed development is approximately 0.188ha in size, and is currently occupied by a one-storey brick church with associated parking areas and a one-storey residential dwelling with an asphalt driveway. The proposed development will involve the construction of two 3-storey townhouse complexes. The proposed townhouse buildings will consist of 29 units, and include landscaped paved / patio stone areas.
Scope of Services
TMIG was retained to provide site servicing and grading design in support of the proposed residential development. Services included the preparation of a Functional Servicing Report, detailed site servicing drawings, detailed site grading drawings, and a Stormwater Management Design Brief to satisfy the City of Toronto Wet Weather Flow Management Guidelines (WWFMG). TMIG is currently assisting with the construction tendering of this project.
Low Impact Development techniques have been integrated into the design along with more typical SWM methods to satisfy the WWFMG. The property is also located within an urban setting surrounded by residential properties, therefore the grading of the site had to accommodate the existing grades at the property boundaries.
