Green Lane MESP
TMIG is developing a Master Environmental Servicing Plan (MESP) that identifies infrastructure works needed to support the urban structure framework defined by the Town’s Official Plan as part of the Green Lane Secondary Plan. The MESP will focus on the technical investigations needed to determine the most appropriate and cost-effective means of servicing the Green Lane Secondary Plan area, and how the solution can be implemented in step with the planned phasing of development through the study area.
Scope of Services
The MESP will include a natural heritage inventory, geotechnical and hydrogeological investigations, a municipal servicing plan, a transportation management system, acoustic analysis, archeological resource inventory and analysis, a Public Open Space and Parks Master Plan, and a development phasing and implementation strategy.
Unique solutions are being developed to address the requirements of the Lake Simcoe and Region Conservation Authority and Lake Simcoe Protection Plan related to management of phosphorus and rainfall retention. Interim water and sanitary servicing designs are also being prepared to allow some development in the study area to proceed in advance of the planned Lake Simcoe Water Reclamation Centre and extension of the Lake Ontario water supply to East Gwillimbury.
