Boyne Survey Landowners Group – Brittania Road Watermain and Trunk Sanitary Sewer

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Design of a Zone M4L Regional Trunk Watermain and appurtenances along Britannia Road (RR6). The new trunk watermain will connect to the 400mm Zone M4L watermain east of Tremaine Road, and the existing 750mm branch from the 900mm Zone M5L watermain at Regional Road 25 via a Pressure Reducing Valve. To services lands in Boyne Survey Phase 1, 300mm or 400mm watermains connections and plugs will be provided to the north at the location of the future intersections. The project also includes the design of a trunk sanitary sewer along Britannia Road from Tremaine Road to Regional Road 25 to services lands in Boyne Survey Phase 1, a portion of the Sherwood Survey, and a portion of the Milton Education Village Lands.

SCOPE OF SERVICES

TMIG was retained to provide detailed design, contract administration and site inspection services for approximately 3.2 km of 750mm dia. CPP watermain along Britannia Road from Tremaine Road to RR 25, which includes trenchless crossings of CN tracks, 10 km of 1200mm dia. CPP watermain along Britannia Road east of RR25, 3.2 km of reinforced concrete pipe trunk sanitary sewer (400mm and 750mm dia.) and maintenance holes along Britannia Rd from Tremaine Road to RR 25, with trenchless watercourse and CN track crossings.
