PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project involves the design, construction administration and site inspection of a sanitary pumping station (SPS), forcemain and gravity sewer to service the North Kleinburg development lands.

SCOPE OF SERVICES

For the North Humber Extension Landowners Group, and ultimately the City of Vaughan, The Municipal Infrastructure Group Ltd. is currently providing full engineering services to complete the design of a 20 L/s SPS with the ability to easily expand the station to 50 L/s in the future, depending on the projected flows for the external development lands and existing unserviced lots, and approximately 400 m of 150mm diameter forcemain and 1,130 m of 300 mm diameter gravity sewer.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

The project teams will be exploring sustainability initiatives to incorporate into the pumping station to complement the Low Impact Development design (also by TMIG) of the subdivision. TMIG will be fast tracking the design to achieve the Landowner Group’s aggressive schedule for occupancy.
