Block 40-47 Sanitary Pumping Station

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project involves the design, tender, construction administration and site inspection for a sanitary pumping station to service a proposed development in Block 40/47 in the City of Vaughan.

SCOPE OF SERVICES

For the Block 40/47 Landowners Group, and ultimately the City of Vaughan, The Municipal Infrastructure Group Ltd. is currently providing full engineering services to design a sewage pumping station with an initial peak flow rate of approximately 128 L/s and a potential ultimate peakflow rate of 274 L/s. The project also includes a hydraulic review of downstream sewer capacity to accommodate station flows.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

Included in the project are two HOD sewer crossings of (one 475m, one 240m) and one watermain crossing of watercourses containing Redside Dace habitat and the construction of the sewage pumping station and 2 hour storage tank will also be down in sensitive Valley lands and require close coordination with TRCA.
